Serverless cloud platform build on open-source Apache Open-whisk
Nimbella serverless platform is built on Apache Open Whisk as a foundation, meaning that it's open-source. To address some of the challenges faced by developers when using serverless computing, the Nimbella serverless platform includes the following features: - It can be deployed either on dedicated infrastructure, private or public clouds. - It allows the development of stateful, stateless, JAMstack, streaming or long-running applications. - The platform integrates with most developer tools, and handles the configuration of integral services such as storage management, capacity provisioning, auto-scaling, monitoring, and logging. In October 2021, Nimbella was acquired by Digital Ocean.
